Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 is a mid level Windows Mobile Professional cellphone launched in September 2009, featuring a 3.2-inches resistive screen, an 8.1 megapixels back side camera and a quite powerful 528 megahertz CPU.
Sony ships the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 with a good processing unit running at 528 megahertz with just 288 MB RAM. This cellphone has a poor 112,64 MB internal memory, which could be adequate for basic users having that this device also has a slot for an external memory card to store songs, photographs and videos and even some applications that allow being installed in the external memory.
This cellphone feels a bit heavy for a cellphone of this size, weighting 5.47 ounces. Even though this cellphone is 4.33" long and 2.13 inches wide, it only comes with a way smaller 3.2" display. This device is a little bit thick compared to nowadays cellphones, with its 0.63" thickness.
Sony packed this phone with a good looking 3.2-inches screen, and a 800 x 480 resolution, giving this device a nice image quality. This screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it's not multi-touch.
This phone features wi-fi connection (but it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and the fastest 3G internet connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM carriers.
This cellphone is equipped with only an 8.1 MP back facing camera. The camera also features a few useful features: auto-focus, flash, digital image stabilization and geo tagging.
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 uses a 1500 mAh mid capacity Li-Polymer removable battery that can keep this phone running for many hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it after some moderate to heavy usage. Sony says this cellphone has a 10 hours talk time and a 500 hs stand by time.
This phone also comes with a few nice features as Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
This phone is being sold for about 249 dollars, which is not a really offer for a cellphone this level.
