T-Mobile myTouch 3G is a not very powerful Android phone, packing a medium 3.2" capacitive screen, a good 528 MHz processing unit and a 3.2 MP back-facing camera.
T-Mobile appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.1 ounces cellphone. This phone is a bit thick compared to nowadays phones, being as thick as 0.58". Though this cellphone is 4.45" long and 2.19" wide, it only comes with a smaller 3.2" screen.
T-Mobile decided to build the T-Mobile myTouch 3G using a quite powerful CPU speeding at 528 megahertz, included in the Qualcomm MSM7201A chip and only 288 MB RAM.
The T-Mobile myTouch 3G has only a 3.2 megapixels back facing camera. To complete the camera, it also counts with auto-focus.
This phone includes a nice 3.2" screen with a 480 x 320 resolution, which makes all pictures and movies look nice. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.
This phone features Wi-Fi capability (although it can't provide it to other devices acting as a wireless modem or router) and the fastest 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The T-Mobile myTouch 3G works with a SIM card to use GSM services.
This cellphone comes with a 1340 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion replaceable battery providing this cellphone with a poor battery life. According to T-Mobile, this phone has an estimated talk time of 7 hours and a stand by time of 384 hours.
This phone also features a couple nice characteristics like Bluetooth (2.0, EDR) and GPS, and Accelerometer.
