Xolo A500S Lite Review

Xolo A500S Lite is a fair quality device, which features a powerful 1.3 GHz Dual-Core CPU, a 4-inches display, and 2 cameras, a 3 MP back facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front-facing camera.

Tag Heuer decided to equip the Xolo A500S Lite using a MediaTek MT6572 chip, holding a great performance 1300 megahertz Dual-Core CPU and 512 MB RAM. Graphic rendering usually uses lots of processing power, so the Xolo A500S Lite also has an extra 320 MHz ARM Mali-400 MP1 graphic processing unit to help with that calculations. This cellphone has a 4 GB internal storage, a medium amount that should be fine for the majority of users considering that it also has a slot for SD memory cards to store songs, photos and videos and even some apps and games that can be installed in the external memory.

This cellphone is for sale in 2 different color options, black and white. The Xolo A500S Lite is extremely thin and comfortable, being just 0.36" thick.

This device features two cameras, a 3 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. This phone also captures 1280x720 HD videos. This camera also features some interesting characteristics: flash, fast burst mode, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

The Xolo A500S Lite has a good level 800 x 480 4-inches display, giving this phone a good image quality. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

The Xolo A500S Lite includes Wi-Fi capability (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a wireless modem or router), 4G (HSPA+) data connection, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and fast 3G connection type, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Xolo A500S Lite supports dual sim so it is able to use two different phone numbers in the same phone.

The Xolo A500S Lite also features a couple of cool features as Bluetooth (enables communication with other cellphones and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone comes with a 1400 mAh medium sized removable battery, which is quite low for a demanding device like this. This cellphone has an aproximate talk time of 16 hs and a stand by time of 520 hs.
