Xolo One Review

Xolo One is a mid level phone, provisioned with a 4.5" capacitive touch-screen, an extremely fast 1.3 gigahertz Quad-Core CPU, and two cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front side camera. We will get a better understanding of this cellphone's pros when we get into specific details.

This phone is just 5.04 inches long, but it manages to hold a 4.5 inches screen. The Xolo One is just 0.37" thick, taking it to the thinnest cellphone's category. This cellphone is sold in multiple color options, black, brown, red and white.

Tag Heuer decided to design this cellphone using an extremely powerful Quad-Core processor ticking at 1300 MHz, bundled in the MediaTek MT6582M chip and only 1 GB RAM memory which is a bit disappointing considering its powerful processing power. To collaborate with graphic calculations, the Xolo One also uses an ARM Mali-400 MP2 GPU running at 416 megahertz. A nice advantage of the Xolo One is its 8 GB quite large internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card, allowing you to store a couple hundred applications and games without any problem.

Tag Heuer designed this cellphone with a very good 4.5 inches display, and a resolution of 854 x 480 , which makes all images and videos look beautiful. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera. The Xolo One also films videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD). Additionally, this phone's camera also has some good characteristics like flash, smile detection shooting, geo tagging and HDR mode.

This phone counts with a 1700 mAh mid capacity battery that provides the Xolo One a poor battery lifecompared to other phones. Tag Heuer reports a stand by time of 430 hs and a talk time of 19 hours for this phone.

This phone has WiFi connectivity (and it can provide it to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), HSPA+ (4G) data connection, that is not so fast as LTE networks and 3G fast internet connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone supports dual sim cards so it can to use two different phone lines or carriers.

The Xolo One also comes with some nice characteristics like Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth cellphones, computers and accessories), GPS Geolocation and FM Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
