Xolo Opus 3 Review
Score: 50.7 / 100Xolo Opus 3 is a mid level Android phone, packed with a high-tech Quad-Core processor running at 1.3 gigahertz, a comfortable 5 inches multi touch screen, and 2 cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera.
This phone is thin and comfortable, with a thickness of just 0.35". Though the Xolo Opus 3 only has 5.63 inches long, it still manages to contain a 5 inches display. This cellphone is only for sale in black color.
Tag Heuer equipped the Xolo Opus 3 with a MediaTek MT6582M chip, which holds an exceptional 1300 megahertz Quad-Core processor and only 1 GB RAM which is a little bit disappointing for such a powerful phone. Helping with graphic calculations, the Xolo Opus 3 also has an ARM Mali-400 MP2 GPU ticking at 416 MHz. A good feature of this device is its quite big 8 GB internal memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, which allows you to install a couple hundred apps without any problem.
This cellphone has a nice 5" display with a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, which makes everything look great. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.
This device counts with wifi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a modem or router), 4G HSPA+ data connection, that is not as fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and the fastest 3G connection type, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Xolo Opus 3 supports dual SIM cards so it's able to use two different phone lines.
This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, an 8 MP back side camera and a 5 mega-pixels front-facing camera. It can also capture videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD). The camera also has a high number of useful features: flash, auto-focus, face detection shooting, HDR mode, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.
This cellphone comes with a 2500 mAh huge Li-Polymer battery that can keep this phone running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without charging it. Tag Heuer reports a 550 hs stand by time and a 26 hs talk time for this phone.
This cellphone also comes with a handful of nice features as Bluetooth (for communication with other cellphones and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
