Xolo Q1000s Review

Xolo Q1000s is a little outdated Android device, having a high-tech Quad-Core CPU speeding at 1.5 gigahertz, a pretty large 5" multi-touch screen, and two cameras, a 13 MP back-facing camera and a 5 MP front camera. But let's get into some more details.

The Xolo Q1000s comes with a MediaTek MT6589T chip, which holds an extremely powerful Quad-Core processing unit running at 1.5 GHz with only 1 GB RAM memory which is a little low for such a good phone. Graphic rendering usually consume a lot of CPU cycles, so it has an additional PowerVR SGX544 graphics processing unit working at 384 megahertz to help the CPU with those tasks. A nice point of this cellphone is the 16 GB quite large internal storage memory and though it doesn't include an SD memory slot, it should be enough to store hundreds of apps and games, but it might not be suitable if you are planning to install a couple of the heaviest games available nowadays or taking tons of pictures and videos.

Tag Heuer has made a very good design job making the Xolo Q1000s as lightweight as 5.57 ounces. This cellphone is incredibly thin and comfortable, being just 0.27" thick. This phone is a compact device, given that it features a 5" screen and it only has 5.79" long.

The Xolo Q1000s is equipped with two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 5 MP front facing camera. This phone can also capture 1920x1080 Full HD videos. Additionally, the camera counts with multiple great features: flash, fast burst mode, auto-focus, face detection shooting, HDR mode and geo tagging.

Tag Heuer designed this phone with a interesting 5" screen, and a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, providing this phone with a nice graphical experience. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This phone offers Wi-Fi connection (which it can provide to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), HSPA+ (4G) internet connection, which is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE networks and fast 3G connection type, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM services.

This device packs an amazing 2500 mAh battery, enough to provide this cellphone with a great battery duration. This phone has a reported talk time of 22.5 hours and a stand by time of 425 hs.

This phone also features a few useful features like Bluetooth (for communication with other bluetooth devices and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
