Xolo Q700 Review

Xolo Q700 is a decently made device, provisioned with a 1.2 gigahertz Quad-Core processor, a 4.5-inches multi touch screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 2 megapixels front camera.

This phone's thickness of 0.4 inches is quite far from current standards, but it still feels comfortable in the hand. This phone isn't very light comparing with today standards, with a weight of 5.34 ounces. This cellphone is only for sale in color gray.

Tag Heuer equipped the Xolo Q700 with a good looking 4.5 inches display, and a resolution of 960 x 540 , providing this device with a very nice graphic quality. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

Tag Heuer decided to power this device using a MediaTek MTK6589W-M chip, backed up by an exceptional Quad-Core processor clocking at 1200 megahertz with only 1 GB RAM which is a little bit low for such a solid cellphone. Graphic intensive applications and games generally consume lots of CPU processing time, so the Xolo Q700 uses a 384 MHz PowerVR SGX544 GPU to help the processor with those tasks. This phone counts with a 4 GB internal memory, a common quantity that should be enough for most users considering that this phone also has a slot for SD memory cards to store photographs and videos and even some games and apps that can be installed in the external memory.

This cellphone has two cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front facing camera. It is capable of shooting videos in HD 1280x720. To complete the camera, it also counts with some good characteristics: face detection shooting, flash, geo tagging and HDR mode.

This cellphone includes wi-fi connectivity (but it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G HSPA+ internet connection, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE networks and the fastest 3G connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone supports dual SIM so it's able to work with two different phone numbers or carriers.

This cellphone also includes a handful of cool characteristics like Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Localization, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The Xolo Q700 has a 2400 mAh huge replaceable battery, enough to provide this cellphone with an amazing battery duration. Tag Heuer reports a stand by time of 380 hs and a talk time of 17 hours for this device.
