Xolo Q900s Review

Xolo Q900s is a little bit outdated Android cellphone, having a very fast Quad-Core processing unit speeding at 1.2 gigahertz, a 4.7-inches multi-touch screen, an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front side camera.

The Xolo Q900s ships with a high performance Quad-Core processing unit running at 1200 MHz, bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 MSM8212 system chip with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little low for such a solid phone. Graphic intensive games and apps often consume lots of processing power, so this device also has an Adreno 302 graphic processing unit running at 400 megahertz to unload the CPU. The Xolo Q900s counts with anice 8 GB internal storage memory and a slot for an external memory card, which allows you to install a couple hundred games and applications without any trouble.

Being just 0.28" thick,the Xolo Q900s is very thin and practical. While this phone is just 5.35 inches long and 2.65" wide, it still manages to pack a 4.7 inches screen. The Xolo Q900s feels much lighter than what one would expect from a cellphone of this size. The Xolo Q900s is offerred in two color options, black and white.

This cellphone is equipped with a nice 4.7-inches screen with a 960 x 540 resolution, providing this phone with a nice graphical experience. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

The Xolo Q900s provides wi-fi capability (and it can be provided to other devices as a mobile hotspot), 4G HSPA+ connection type, that is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and fast 3G internet connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone comes with two SIM cards so it is able to use two different phone numbers or carriers.

This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, an 8 megapixels back facing camera and a 2 MP front camera. The Xolo Q900s can also shoot 1280x720 HD videos. In addition, the camera has a few interesting features like auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.

This phone also comes with a handful of useful characteristics like Bluetooth (4.0), GPS and FM Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone has a good 1800 mAh Li-Polymer removable battery that can keep this device running for many hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it after some moderate use. This cellphone has an aproximate stand by time of 263 hours and a talk time of 23 hs according to Tag Heuer.
