Xolo Q900T Review

Score: 50.6 / 100

Xolo Q900T is a not so powerful cellphone, including a medium sized 4.7" multi-touch capacitive display, an exceptional 1500 megahertz Quad-Core CPU, and two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 2 mega-pixels front camera.

This phone ships with a high performance Quad-Core CPU running at 1500 megahertz, bundled in the MediaTek MT6589T chip with only 1 GB RAM which is a bit disappointing for a device of this level. Graphic intensive games and apps often eats a lot of CPU time, so it also uses a 384 MHz PowerVR SGX544 graphics processing unit to take some work out of the processor. This cellphone comes with a 4 GB internal storage memory, an average quantity that should be fine for the majority of users considering this cellphone also has a slot for SD memory cards .

The Xolo Q900T is available just in color black. This cellphone is a compact cellphone, given that it packs a 4.7" display and it is just 5.27 inches long and 2.66" wide. This cellphone is slim and good-looking, with a thickness of just 0.36".

This phone is equipped with two cameras, an 8 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera. It can also film videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD). Additionally, this phone's camera also counts with a couple of interesting features like flash, face detection shooting, auto-focus, geo tagging and HDR mode.

Tag Heuer packed the Xolo Q900T with an absolutely amazing 4.7 inches display, and a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, which makes it impossible to even distinguish the pixels taking part of the display. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This device uses a 1800 mAh mid capacity Li-Polymer replaceable battery, which is quite poor for a consuming cellphone like this. Tag Heuer afirms this phone has a stand by time of 367 hs and a talk time of 15 hs.

This cellphone provides wi-fi capability (although it can't be provided to other devices as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) connectivity, which is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and 3G fast data connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Xolo Q900T uses 2 SIM cards so it can to use two different phone lines and even different carriers in the same cellphone.

This phone also comes with some cool features as Bluetooth (3.0), GPS Geolocation and Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
