Xolo X1000 Review

Xolo X1000 is a fair quality device, equipped with a 4.7 inches capacitive display, an extremely powerful 2 gigahertz processing unit, an 8 mega-pixels back camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera.

Tag Heuer decided to equip this phone with a Intel Atom Z2480 chip, backed up by an extremely powerful CPU ticking at 2 GHz with only 1 GB RAM memory which is a little poor comparing with its great processing power.

This phone isn't very light comparing to other cellphones , weighting 4.94 oz. This cellphone is just 5.27" long, but it still manages to hold a 4.7 inches display. Being just 0.36 inches thick,this cellphone is thin and comfortable. The Xolo X1000 is only for sale in color black.

This cellphone has a spectacular 1280 x 720 (HD) 4.7-inches screen, which makes it impossible to even see the pixels composing the screen. This screen uses LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This phone is equipped with two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. It also captures videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second. The camera also features some good features like auto-focus, flash, fast burst mode and geo tagging.

This device features Wi-Fi connectivity (which can be shared with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), HSPA+ 4G connectivity, which is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and fast 3G connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card for GSM carriers.

The Xolo X1000 counts with a good 1900 mAh removable battery, which is quite poor for a consuming device like this. Tag Heuer reports a 336 hs stand by time and a 9.5 hs talk time for this cellphone.

This cellphone also includes some cool features as Bluetooth (for communication with other cellphones, computers and accessories), GPS Localization and FM Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
