ZTE Render Review

ZTE Render is a little bit outdated Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh cellphone, packed with a 4 inches display, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a great performance 1000 MHz CPU.

ZTE decided to build this phone with a great performance processor ticking at 1 GHz, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7627A chip with 1 GB RAM memory. Collaborating with graphic calculations, it also has a 200 megahertz Adreno 200 (enhanced) graphic processing unit. This phone counts with a 4 GB internal storage, a reasonable quantity but might be a bit small considering it doesn't count with an external memory slot.

This device's thickness (0.44") is quite far from today's standards, but it still feels quite fine in the hand. The ZTE Render is a bit heavy for a cellphone this size, with a weight of 4.79 ounces.

This cellphone has only a 5 mega-pixels back camera. This camera also includes flash.

ZTE packed this cellphone with a nice 4 inches screen, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , which makes all pictures and movies look vivid. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This device has a 1600 mAh medium sized battery providing this phone with a not very long battery duration. ZTE says this device has a stand by time of 220 hours and a talk time of 7 hs.

This phone features WiFi connectivity (which it can provide to other devices around, acting as a wireless modem or router) and 3G internet connection, using EV-DO A technologies. The ZTE Render doesn't have a SIM card, because it's not a GSM phone and it can work with CDMA networks.

This device also features a few cool features as Bluetooth (enables communication with other bluetooth phones and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

ZTE sells this device for 75 dollars, which is a very high price for comparing with other similar cellphones.
