Apple iPad 3 has an overall score of 71.1, which is much better than the Acer Iconia A1's 55.4 global score. The Apple iPad 3 has iOS 6.1 operating system, while Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1 operating system. Apple iPad 3's body is somewhat thinner than Acer Iconia A1, although it is extremely heavier and was released about a year before.
The Apple iPad 3 counts with a more vivid display than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a way greater display density, a bigger display and a much higher 1536 x 2048 resolution. The Acer Iconia A1 counts with a bit better processing unit than iPad 3, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Acer Iconia A1 also has more cores and an additional GPU.
