Asus Fonepad 7 is just a bit better than the Acer Iconia A1, getting a general score of 58.9 against 55.4. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but the Asus Fonepad 7 has 5.0 version and Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1 version, so it provides you a couple nice extra features and a performance increase. Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a little bit better memory capacity to install games and applications than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Asus Fonepad 7 also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB. The Acer Iconia A1 features a really longer battery lifetime than Asus Fonepad 7.
Acer Iconia A1 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Asus Fonepad 7. Both of them have a same resolution back camera, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality.
The Asus Fonepad 7 is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia A1, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
