Comparison review

Google Pixel Slate is much better than Acer Iconia A1, with a 79.3 score against 55.4. The Google Pixel Slate comes with Chrome OS OS, while Acer Iconia A1 comes with Android 4.1 OS. Google Pixel Slate is a newer and noticeably thinner tablet than Acer Iconia A1, although it's also a lot heavier.

The Google Pixel Slate features a little bit better hardware performance than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has an inferior number of cores and doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory. Google Pixel Slate features a bit better screen than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a way greater pixels count per display inch, a way better 3000 x 2000 resolution and a way larger screen.

Google Pixel Slate has a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. The Acer Iconia A1 counts with a superior battery performance than Google Pixel Slate. The Google Pixel Slate has a much better camera than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Google Pixel Slate also has a camera in the back with way more megapixels.

Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia A1. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Acer Iconia A1, letting go some specs and features.
