Comparison review

HTC Flyer has a general score of 58.7, which is a little bit better than Acer Iconia A1's 55.4 overall score. These devices come with Android operating system, but HTC Flyer has 3.2 version and Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1 version. Even being the best in our current comparison, HTC Flyer is a noticeably older, somewhat thicker and a little bit heavier portable tablet than the Acer Iconia A1.

The Acer Iconia A1 features a slightly better looking screen than HTC Flyer, because although it has a little bit inferior pixels amount in each inch in the screen, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 768 x 1024 pixels and a little bigger screen. HTC Flyer features a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports up to 32 GB, the HTC Flyer also has more internal memory.

Acer Iconia A1 has a bit better processing unit than HTC Flyer, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Acer Iconia A1 also has a better 384 megahertz graphics processor and 3 more cores. The Acer Iconia A1 counts with improved battery lifetime than HTC Flyer, because it has 4960mAh of battery capacity.

The Acer Iconia A1 counts with a slightly better camera than HTC Flyer, and although they both have a 5 MP back-facing camera, the Acer Iconia A1 also has a lot higher (Full HD) video resolution.

Although HTC Flyer is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Acer Iconia A1. If you want to save some money, you can buy Acer Iconia A1, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
