Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is much better than the Acer Iconia A1, getting a general score of 73.3 against 55.4. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is a a lot newer and noticeably thinner device than the Acer Iconia A1, although it is heavier. Both tablets we compare here include Android operating system, but the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has newer 8.0 Oreo version while Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1 version, so it provides the user lots of additional features.
The Acer Iconia A1 has a little more vivid screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, although it has a lot lower display density, a way worse 768 x 1024 resolution and a really smaller display. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB and 64 GB internal memory.
Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a better CPU than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and more RAM memory. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite counts with a very superior battery performance than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a 51 percent more battery size.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite captures slightly better videos and photos than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite also has a back camera with much more megapixels.
Huawei MediaPad M5 lite costs a lot more than the Acer Iconia A1, but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
