Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has a score of 63.1, which is much better than Acer Iconia A1's 55.4 global score. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus body is newer, a lot thinner and much lighter than Acer Iconia A1. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android operating system, but the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has the newer 7.1 Nougat version and Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1, offering some extra features and enhanced performance.

Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with a little better processing power than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with a little sharper screen than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution, a bit bigger screen and way more pixels per inch in the screen.

Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with a little bit better camera than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus also has a much more megapixels back facing camera. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 128 GB.

If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Acer Iconia A1, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
