LG G Pad 10.1 is just a bit better than the Acer Iconia A1, having a global score of 58.4 against 55.4. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but LG G Pad 10.1 has newer 5.0 version while Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1 version, so it provides you a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements. LG G Pad 10.1 is a heavier but way thinner tablet than Acer Iconia A1.
The LG G Pad 10.1 has a little bit better hardware performance than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores, the LG G Pad 10.1 also has a better graphics processing unit. Acer Iconia A1 features a bit better looking display than LG G Pad 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller display and a little lower resolution of 768 x 1024 pixels, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of display.
The Acer Iconia A1 has much more storage to store more games and applications than LG G Pad 10.1. Both of them have the same internal memory capacity. The Acer Iconia A1 shoots much clearer photos and videos than LG G Pad 10.1. Both of them have a same resolution back camera. LG G Pad 10.1 counts with a superior battery performance than Acer Iconia A1, because it has an 8000mAh battery capacity instead of 4960mAh.
Although LG G Pad 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Acer Iconia A1. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Acer Iconia A1, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
