Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is much better than the Acer Iconia A1, with a global score of 64.8 against 55.4. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7's construction is lighter and noticeably thinner than the Acer Iconia A1, although it was released about 21 months before. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has the previous 4.0.4 version and Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a little more vivid screen than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better 800 x 1280 resolution and a little bit greater pixel amount in each inch of screen. The Acer Iconia A1 features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Acer Iconia A1 also has a faster 384 megahertz graphics co-processor and 2 more CPU cores.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has 48 GB more internal memory. The Acer Iconia A1 has a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a lot better video resolution and a camera in the back with a lot better resolution.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 features just a little better battery performance than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a 3 percent more battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Iconia A1. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, else you can save some dollars and get the Acer Iconia A1, giving up a couple features and specifications.
