Galaxy Tab has an overall score of 58.6, which is a little bit better than Acer Iconia A1's global score of 55.4. The Galaxy Tab is a older and just a bit thicker device than the Acer Iconia A1, but Samsung managed to make it a little bit lighter anyway. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab has older 2.3.3 version and Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1.
The Acer Iconia A1 features a better processor than Galaxy Tab, because it has 512 MB more RAM memory, a graphics co-processor and a greater number of cores. Acer Iconia A1 counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because although it has a just a bit worse display density, it also counts with a little bigger display and a slightly higher 768 x 1024 resolution.
The Acer Iconia A1 has a superior camera than Galaxy Tab, because it has a lot more MP back-facing camera and a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Acer Iconia A1. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Acer Iconia A1, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
