Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is much better than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, with a score of 62.7 against 54.7. Even being the best in this review, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a a lot heavier and much thicker tablet than the Acer Iconia A1-830-1479. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has older 4.0 version while Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 has Android 4.2.1 version.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a bit superior CPU than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, and although they both have 2 cores and 1 GB of RAM, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has a GPU. Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a much smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1024 x 768, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixel density.
The Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 features a better storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 16 GB internal storage capacity.
