The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is much better than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, getting a 61.4 score against 54.7. These tablets include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has 4.1 version while Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 has Android 4.2.1 version. Even being the best device in this review, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a much thicker and noticeably heavier device than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479.

Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 features a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way smaller display and a bit lower 1024 x 768 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixels quantity per inch in the screen. The Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 counts with a greater storage for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has an external SD slot that holds 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 16 GB internal memory.

The Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). They have the same RAM memory amount and 2 cpu cores.
