The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has an overall score of 58.5, which is a little bit better than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479's overall score of 54.7. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has the older 4.1 version while Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 has Android 4.2.1 version. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a thicker but a bit lighter tablet than the Acer Iconia A1-830-1479.

The Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). Both have the same number of cores and a 1 GB RAM memory.
