Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is way better than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, getting a score of 66.2 against 54.7. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's construction is somewhat lighter but a bit thicker than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has newer 4.4.2 version while Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 has Android 4.2.1, giving some extra features and increased performance.
