Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a score of 60.8, which is much better than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479's general score of 54.7. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a much thicker but just a bit lighter tablet device than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has an older 4.1.2 version while Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 has Android 4.2.1.
Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because although it has a quite worse display density, it also counts with a quite better 1024 x 768 pixels resolution and a little larger display. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 64 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity.
The Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 counts with just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. Both of them have the same RAM amount and a Dual-Core processing unit. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with a battery lifetime that's just as good as Acer Iconia A1-830-1479's battery life.
The Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 shoots clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a much higher (Full HD) video quality and a way more megapixels back camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Acer Iconia A1-830-1479. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
