Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a bit better than the Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, getting a score of 58.1 against 54.7. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 8.9 has the older 3.0 version while Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 has Android 4.2.1. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 design is heavier and somewhat thicker than the Acer Iconia A1-830-1479.
