Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab has an overall score of 58.6, which is a little bit better than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479's 54.7 general score. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab has the older 2.3.3 version and Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 has Android 4.2.1 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab body has the same weight than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, but it is way thicker.

The Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because although it has a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a quite better 1024 x 768 pixels resolution and a little larger screen. Acer Iconia A1-830-1479 has a better performing CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and 512 MB more RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab features just a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab counts with a battery lifetime that is very similar to the battery performance in Acer Iconia A1-830-1479.

Galaxy Tab has a little bit better camera than Acer Iconia A1-830-1479, although it has a way less mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a much worse 720x480 video resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Tab is not only the best devices between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones.
