Comparison review
IPad mini 2 is much better than Acer Iconia A3, getting a global score of 77.2 against 55.2. Even though the iPad mini 2 and the Acer Iconia A3 were only released with a couple of months difference, the iPad mini 2 is a lot thinner and lighter. The iPad mini 2 works with iOS 8.x operating system, and Acer Iconia A3 works with Android 4.2 operating system.
The iPad mini 2 counts with a bit better processing unit than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has less cpu cores (although they are faster), and they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the iPad mini 2 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and a better graphics processor. Apple iPad mini 2 features a better looking display than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a way higher count of pixels per display inch.
IPad mini 2 has a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Apple iPad mini 2 shoots greater videos and photos than Acer Iconia A3. They have the same (Full HD) video definition, the same video frame rates and a 5 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
The iPad mini 2 features a much better battery lifetime than Acer Iconia A3, because it has a 6471mAh battery capacity.
