Dell Venue 8 Pro has a general score of 59.6, which is a little bit better than the Acer Iconia A3's 55.2 score. The Dell Venue 8 Pro has Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, while Acer Iconia A3 works with Android 4.2 operating system. Dell Venue 8 Pro's construction is noticeably lighter and somewhat thinner than Acer Iconia A3.
Dell Venue 8 Pro features a little bit better processing power than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, the Dell Venue 8 Pro also counts with a larger amount of RAM.
