Comparison review

HTC Flyer has an overall score of 58.7, which is just a bit better than Acer Iconia A3's 55.2 global score. These tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but the HTC Flyer has 3.2 version and Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2 version. The HTC Flyer is a way older and noticeably thicker tablet device than the Acer Iconia A3, but HTC could make it notably lighter anyway.

Acer Iconia A3 has a little faster processor than HTC Flyer, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Acer Iconia A3 also has a better GPU and a greater number of cores (although they are slower). Acer Iconia A3 has a brighter screen than HTC Flyer, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a better resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a way larger screen.

HTC Flyer features a superior camera than Acer Iconia A3. Both have a same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rate and the same video quality. The HTC Flyer counts with much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Acer Iconia A3, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 32 GB, the HTC Flyer also has 32 GB internal storage capacity.

HTC Flyer features a little longer battery lifetime than Acer Iconia A3, because it has a 13% larger battery capacity.

The HTC Flyer costs a little more money than Acer Iconia A3, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
