LG G Pad X 8.3 is much better than the Acer Iconia A3, having a general score of 63.8 against 55.2. The LG G Pad X 8.3 body is newer, thinner and a lot lighter than Acer Iconia A3. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but the LG G Pad X 8.3 has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version and Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2 version, giving a couple additional features and performance improvements.
LG G Pad X 8.3 features a bit faster processor than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and faster). The Acer Iconia A3 counts with a bit better display than LG G Pad X 8.3, because although it has a lot worse pixel amount per display inch and a way worse 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger display.
The LG G Pad X 8.3 has a better storage capacity for games and applications than Acer Iconia A3, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the LG G Pad X 8.3 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 128 GB. LG G Pad X 8.3 has a way better battery life than Acer Iconia A3, because it has a 4800mAh battery size instead of 3540mAh.
LG G Pad X 8.3 captures much better photographs and videos than Acer Iconia A3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the LG G Pad X 8.3 also has a back camera with a much better 8 mega pixels resolution.
