The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition is a little bit better than Acer Iconia A3, getting a 60.4 score against 55.2. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has the older 3.2 version while Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2 version. The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition is an older tablet than the Acer Iconia A3, but Motorola managed to build it noticeably lighter and thinner anyway.
The Acer Iconia A3 has a little faster CPU than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Acer Iconia A3 also has a much better graphics processing unit working at 400 megahertz and a higher number of cores. Acer Iconia A3 has a bit sharper screen than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because although it has a bit inferior pixels quantity per display inch, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 resolution, the Acer Iconia A3 also counts with a bigger display.
Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has a slightly bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity. Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has just a little better battery duration than Acer Iconia A3, because it has a 3900mAh battery capacity.
The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition captures much clearer photographs and videos than Acer Iconia A3. Both have the same video frame rates, the same resolution back camera and the same video quality.
