Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is way better than Acer Iconia A3, having a general score of 68.4 against 55.2. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0's construction is much lighter and much thinner than the Acer Iconia A3, even though they were only released with a couple of months difference.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a bit better hardware performance than Acer Iconia A3, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a faster graphics co-processor and 1 GB more RAM. The Acer Iconia A3 features just a bit better display than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a just a bit inferior number of pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Acer Iconia A3 also counts with a larger display.

Galaxy Note 8.0 features much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Acer Iconia A3, because it has more internal storage capacity and an external memory slot that admits up to 64 GB. The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a superior camera than Acer Iconia A3. Both of them have the same video frame rate, a same resolution back camera and the same video definition.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with improved battery performance than Acer Iconia A3, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity instead of 3540mAh.

In addition to being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is also the cheapest.
