The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is way better than Acer Iconia A3, having a general score of 68.4 against 55.2. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0's construction is much lighter and much thinner than the Acer Iconia A3, even though they were only released with a couple of months difference.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a superior camera than Acer Iconia A3. Both of them have the same video frame rate, a same resolution back camera and the same video definition.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with improved battery performance than Acer Iconia A3, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity instead of 3540mAh.
