Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a score of 58.5, which is slightly better than the Acer Iconia A3's general score of 55.2. Despite of the fact the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is older and just a little thicker than Acer Iconia A3, it's design is still notably lighter. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has the older 4.1 version while Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2.

Acer Iconia A3 features a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because although it has a just a little worse pixel density, it also counts with a much bigger screen and a better resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels. The Acer Iconia A3 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 32 GB, the Acer Iconia A3 also has 16 GB internal storage.

Acer Iconia A3 features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Acer Iconia A3 also has a larger number of cores and an additional graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features just a bit better battery lifetime than Acer Iconia A3, because it has a 13% larger battery capacity.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Acer Iconia A3, although it has a lot worse resolution camera in the back and a lot worse 1280x720 (HD) video definition.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) not only is the best tablets between the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest one, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
