Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a score of 58.8, which is slightly better than Acer Iconia A3's global score of 55.2. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE design is lighter and thinner than Acer Iconia A3, even though it was released many years before. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has the older 4.0 version and Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2.
The Acer Iconia A3 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has more cores and a graphics processor. The Acer Iconia A3 counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because although it has a just a bit lower pixel density, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 resolution, the Acer Iconia A3 also counts with a little bit bigger display.
Acer Iconia A3 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a much higher 5 mega-pixels resolution camera and a way higher (Full HD) video definition.
