Comparison review
Galaxy Tab has a general score of 58.6, which is slightly better than Acer Iconia A3's general score of 55.2. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab has the previous 2.3.3 version and Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2 version. Although the Galaxy Tab is noticeably older and thicker than the Acer Iconia A3, it's body is still much lighter.
Acer Iconia A3 counts with a more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab, because it has an extra graphics co-processor, more RAM and 3 more processing cores. Acer Iconia A3 has a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab, because although it has a just a bit inferior amount of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 800 x 1280px and a much bigger display.
Samsung Galaxy Tab has a bit better camera than Acer Iconia A3, although it has a much lower 3 MP resolution camera and a much lower 720x480 video quality. The Galaxy Tab counts with just a bit more memory capacity to install games and applications than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory capacity.
