Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is way better than the Acer Iconia A3, getting a 75.2 score against 55.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's design is extremely lighter and noticeably thinner than Acer Iconia A3, even though they were released only a few months apart. Both of these tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2, so it provides you lots of additional features.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a more vivid display than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 2560 x 1600 resolution and a way greater amount of pixels per display inch. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Acer Iconia A3, because it has 32 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 64 GB.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a quite superior processing power than Acer Iconia A3, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a faster graphics co-processor and a greater amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a much better battery lifetime than Acer Iconia A3, because it has a 4800mAh battery size against 3540mAh.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a very superior camera than Acer Iconia A3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a way higher 8 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is more expensive than Acer Iconia A3, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
