Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a general score of 60.4, which is slightly better than Acer Iconia A3's 55.2 score. Galaxy Tab A 9.7's construction is lighter and extremely thinner than the Acer Iconia A3. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a more recent 5.0 version and Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2 version, so it gives a couple additional features and performance optimizations.
Acer Iconia A3 has a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a slightly higher 800 x 1280 resolution, a little bit larger screen and a just a little higher pixels density. The Acer Iconia A3 features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has 512 MB less RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores and an extra graphics processor.
Galaxy Tab A 9.7 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Acer Iconia A3. Both of them have the same video frame rate, the same video definition and a same resolution camera. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a greater storage for games and applications than Acer Iconia A3, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 128 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a really longer battery life than Acer Iconia A3, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
Even being the best tablet in our current comparison, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is also a bargain compared to the other tablets.
