Comparison review
The Acer Iconia A1 has an overall score of 55.4, which is just a bit better than the Acer Iconia Tab A100's score of 50.4. Acer Iconia A1's construction is a lot newer, somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Acer Iconia Tab A100. Both of these tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Acer Iconia A1 has a more recent 4.1 version while Acer Iconia Tab A100 has Android 4.0.3 version, offering a lot of extra features and increased performance.
The Acer Iconia A1 features a bit sharper screen than Acer Iconia Tab A100, because although it has a little less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a quite bigger display and a slightly better resolution of 768 x 1024 pixels. The Acer Iconia A1 has a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Acer Iconia Tab A100, and although they both have an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB, the Acer Iconia A1 also has more internal memory.
