The iPad 2 is much better than Acer Iconia Tab A510, getting a general score of 62.1 against 55.4. IPad 2 counts with iOS 7.x OS, and Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0 OS. Even though the iPad 2 is older than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, it's design is way thinner and lighter. Acer Iconia Tab A510 counts with a bit better screen than iPad 2, because it has a bit higher resolution of 800 x 1280px, a just a little higher pixels number in each display inch and a bit bigger screen.
The iPad 2 has a little bit more storage for applications and games than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Acer Iconia Tab A510 counts with a bit superior processor than iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with more processing cores and 512 MB more RAM memory.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 counts with a superior battery performance than Apple iPad 2, because it has a 9800mAh battery size. The iPad 2 features a better camera than Acer Iconia Tab A510, although it has a worse (HD) video definition and a camera in the back with a much worse 0.7 mega pixels resolution.
Although iPad 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia Tab A510. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the iPad 2, else you can save some money and buy the Acer Iconia Tab A510, giving up a couple specs and features.
