The iPad mini is much better than Acer Iconia Tab A510, with a score of 68.1 against 55.4. The iPad mini is a extremely thinner and way lighter tablet device than the Acer Iconia Tab A510. IPad mini has iOS 8.x OS, and Acer Iconia Tab A510 works with Android 4.0 OS. The Apple iPad mini has a lot better camera than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the Apple iPad mini also has a way better (Full HD) video resolution. Acer Iconia Tab A510 counts with a much longer battery life than iPad mini, because it has 9800mAh of battery capacity instead of 4440mAh.
Although Apple iPad mini is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia Tab A510. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Apple iPad mini, else you can save some dollars and buy the Acer Iconia Tab A510, resigning a couple features and specs.
