The Apple iPad 4 has an overall score of 70.8, which is a lot better than Acer Iconia Tab A700's 56.5 overall score. The Apple iPad 4 works with iOS 7.x OS, and Acer Iconia Tab A700 has Android 4.1 OS. Apple iPad 4's construction is thinner and a bit lighter than Acer Iconia Tab A700. IPad 4 features a little faster processor than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because although it has a lower number of cores , and they both have 1 GB of RAM, the iPad 4 also counts with an extra GPU.
IPad 4 has a sharper display than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a little more pixels per display inch. The iPad 4 features a very superior camera than Acer Iconia Tab A700. Both have the same resolution back camera.
The Apple iPad 4 counts with a much greater memory capacity for applications and games than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Acer Iconia Tab A700 features a way better battery duration than iPad 4.

So if you need that extra specs, you can buy iPad 4, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Acer Iconia Tab A700, giving up a couple features and specifications.
