Comparison review
The Asus VivoTab is slightly better than Acer Iconia Tab A700, with a 57.5 score against 56.5. Asus VivoTab has Windows 8 OS, while Acer Iconia Tab A700 works with Android 4.1 OS. The Asus VivoTab design is way thinner but just a little heavier than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, and both of them were only released with a few months difference.
Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a brighter display than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a lot better pixels number per screen inch. The Asus VivoTab features a bit bigger memory to store more apps and games than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Asus VivoTab counts with a bit faster CPU than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a graphics processor and 1 GB more RAM memory. The Asus VivoTab shoots much better photos and videos than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because it has a camera in the back with a much higher 8 megapixels resolution.
Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a really longer battery duration than Asus VivoTab.
Although Asus VivoTab is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Acer Iconia Tab A700, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia Tab A700. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Asus VivoTab, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Acer Iconia Tab A700, resigning some specifications.
