Comparison review
Asus VivoTab RT is just a bit better than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, with a 61 score against 56.5. The Asus VivoTab RT is a somewhat lighter and extremely thinner device than Acer Iconia Tab A700, even though both of them were only released with a couple of months difference. The Asus VivoTab RT counts with Windows RT OS, and Acer Iconia Tab A700 comes with Android 4.1 OS.
The Asus VivoTab RT features a bit superior processor than Acer Iconia Tab A700, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Asus VivoTab RT also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a sharper display than Asus VivoTab RT, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 also has a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a better pixels density.
Asus VivoTab RT shoots way better pictures and videos than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because it has a back-facing camera with way more megapixels. Asus VivoTab RT has a little bit better memory for games and applications than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
The Acer Iconia Tab A700 features a really longer battery performance than Asus VivoTab RT.
Although Asus VivoTab RT is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia Tab A700. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Acer Iconia Tab A700, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
