The LG G Pad 8.0 has a score of 58.6, which is slightly better than Acer Iconia Tab A700's 56.5 global score. The LG G Pad 8.0 is a a bit thinner and extremely lighter portable tablet than Acer Iconia Tab A700. Both tablets in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the LG G Pad 8.0 has a newer 5.0 version and Acer Iconia Tab A700 has Android 4.1 version, so it provides a couple additional features.
LG G Pad 8.0 has a bit better display than Acer Iconia Tab A700, although it has a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800px, a just a little worse pixels number per display inch and a lot smaller display. Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a much bigger storage capacity for applications and games than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 also has 32 GB internal storage capacity.
The LG G Pad 8.0 has a bit better CPU than Acer Iconia Tab A700, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has an extra graphics processing unit. LG G Pad 8.0 takes much clearer photos and videos than Acer Iconia Tab A700. Both of them have the same resolution camera.
The Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a way better battery lifetime than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has 9800mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
Although LG G Pad 8.0 is a better device, it costs more money than Acer Iconia Tab A700, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Acer Iconia Tab A700. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Acer Iconia Tab A700, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
