Comparison review

Galaxy Note 8.0 has a general score of 69.2, which is much better than Acer Iconia Tab A700's 56.5 general score. Both tablets we are comparing here have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Acer Iconia Tab A700 has Android 4.1 version. Galaxy Note 8.0 is a newer tablet, and it's also noticeably thinner and much lighter than Acer Iconia Tab A700.

Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920px, a quite greater pixels number per inch in the display and a larger display. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a quite better processing power than Acer Iconia Tab A700, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an additional graphics co-processor and more RAM.

The Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 also has more internal storage capacity. Acer Iconia Tab A700 features a superior battery duration than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has 9800mAh of battery capacity.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 features a greater camera than Acer Iconia Tab A700. Both of them have a back camera with a 5 MP resolution.

Although Galaxy Note 8.0 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia Tab A700. If you want to save some money, you can get Acer Iconia Tab A700, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
