Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a bit better than Acer Iconia Tab A700, with a 60.8 score against 56.5. These tablets include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a newer 4.1.2 version and Acer Iconia Tab A700 has Android 4.1 version, so it provides a lot of extra features. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's construction is just a little bit thinner and lighter than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, even when both of them were only released with a few months difference.
Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 also has a larger number of cores (and faster). Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a lot larger display, a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a higher pixel amount per inch of screen.
Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus takes clearer videos and photos than Acer Iconia Tab A700, although it has a much lower 3 MP resolution back facing camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with as much memory for apps and games as the Acer Iconia Tab A700, both of them have an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB and equal 32 GB internal memory capacity.
The Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a very superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a 145 percent more battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than Acer Iconia Tab A700, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Acer Iconia Tab A700. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Acer Iconia Tab A700, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
