Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab has an overall score of 58.6, which is a little bit better than the Acer Iconia Tab A700's score of 56.5. Both of these devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab has the older 2.3.3 version and Acer Iconia Tab A700 has Android 4.1 version. The Galaxy Tab body is incredibly lighter than Acer Iconia Tab A700, although it is just a little thicker and was released only 16 months before.
Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a better performance than Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. The Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher screen density, a lot higher 1200 x 1920px resolution and a really larger display.
The Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a way bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab. Both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity. The Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab, because it has a 9800mAh battery size.
Samsung Galaxy Tab has a much better camera than Acer Iconia Tab A700, although it has a way lower 3 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
Although Galaxy Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Iconia Tab A700. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Acer Iconia Tab A700, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
