IPad 2 has a score of 62.1, which is a bit better than Acer Iconia W3's overall score of 57.3. IPad 2's body is somewhat heavier but somewhat thinner than the Acer Iconia W3. The iPad 2 works with iOS 7.x operating system, while Acer Iconia W3 comes with Windows 8 Pro operating system. Acer Iconia W3 features a little better performance than iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Acer Iconia W3 also counts with a greater amount of RAM.
Acer Iconia W3 counts with a more vivid screen than iPad 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 800 x 1280 and a greater screen density. The Apple iPad 2 takes much clearer photos and videos than Acer Iconia W3, although it has a way worse 0.7 MP resolution back camera.
The Acer Iconia W3 and the Apple iPad 2 count with really similar memory for apps and games, and although the Apple iPad 2 has no slot for an external memory card, they both have equal internal storage. The iPad 2 features a much better battery lifetime than Acer Iconia W3, because it has a 104% more battery capacity.
