Comparison review
Dell Venue 8 Pro is slightly better than Acer Iconia W510, having a general score of 59.6 against 57.5. Both of these tablets include Windows OS (Operating System), but Dell Venue 8 Pro has a more recent 8.1 Pro version and Acer Iconia W510 has Windows 8, so it provides the user lots of additional features. The Dell Venue 8 Pro design has the same thickness than the Acer Iconia W510, but it is a lot lighter.
The Dell Venue 8 Pro has a much better screen than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 800 x 1280px and a much smaller display, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels quantity in each inch of screen. The Dell Venue 8 Pro has a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Acer Iconia W510, and although they both have a SD memory slot that allows up to 64 GB, the Dell Venue 8 Pro also has 64 GB internal memory.
Dell Venue 8 Pro has just a bit better hardware performance than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have the same RAM amount, the Dell Venue 8 Pro also counts with a greater number of faster cores. Acer Iconia W510 features a bit better camera than Dell Venue 8 Pro, because it has a way more mega-pixels back camera.
Dell Venue 8 Pro features a much longer battery duration than Acer Iconia W510, because it has a 36% bigger battery capacity.
Although Dell Venue 8 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Iconia W510. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Acer Iconia W510, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
